Shows how up to date I am, I'd never heard of it.

Just went off to see what all the fuss was about and it's some dude eating vegetarian meatballs.

Sometimes I despair for our society...

What a loss that would be.
Also kind of a weak threat if he plans to continue releasing videos on a new channel. All that would accomplish is shafting his fans who want to watch his older videos.

I don't take kindly to threats PewDiePie, man up and just do it!

He is YouTube most popular content creator, making him the only man that has the power to change the system in any meaningful way.

I would love to see YouTube's many bugs fixed, and I am very happy to see him take a stand against the establishment. I may not like his content, but I can respect his stance here.

When did YouTube become "the establishment"?

They're an independent company so they can do what they like.

What are you talking about? YouTube is a business, establishment can be used as a synonym. Also YouTube is owned by Google.

Yup and you can bet they are making far more money from him than he is from them too.

What I mean by that is that YouTube is the Established power which dictates the terms by which content creators must live by.

They are an independent company and can do what they like, but at the same time they are restricted in how they act as they must keep content creators on side to keep generating ad revenue.

Personally I'm not subscribed to him though I did watch a few of his vids until I came across his rather annoying girlfriend and decided to vacate the area.
You are correct WYP he does have a good point and is in a strong posistion with YouTube to try and correct the issues. I hope he does to be honest but that's up to him. I'll be interested to see the outcome of this episode.

At this point, it would probably be financially preferable for YouTube to get him off the books. I would not be surprised if they did not actually run up his sub count numbers.

Sorry but going to be harsh on this thank god didn't like his videos anyway.

Hes made enough money anyway, He can delete his channel for all that i care ^_^

IMO he's a f'n idiot anyway.

I'm in the "one and done" club too. I think I lasted 30 seconds on one video. How people can find this entertaining is something I'll never understand.

Never watched one, never will. There's so much good content on YouTube that I never need waste my time watching a screaming idiot.

Yup I have binge watched quite a few things lately. The highlight of which is Project Binky. Two guys fitting a AWD Toyota turbo charged lump into a Mini. But they are doing it properly. The Mini has a electronic flip front FGS.

If you haven't seen it I urge you to watch. It helps if you like cars obs. But yeah, quality video making too.

I had not heard of it before but picked it up the other week. They don't post updates very often but when they do it's awesome. Wish I could un-see it and watch it all again tbh, though some eps were so amazing I watched them twice :D
