Petra's mod for DDC pumps?

I believe all that the Petra's top is for is to make it clear and look cool and I believe it may even perform ever so slightly worse.

and i think YOU should click on hams link before posting the exact same thing. and nagaru is right, in alot of areas the pump performs worse but increases flowrate, so it depends on your loop

Radical's top looks pretty trick, but does not perform as well as Petra's or the Alphacool modded top. Read the whole thread. . .there are good insights as to the cost effectiveness of adding a second pump, etc.

i did read the whole thread, i read it several months ago as well, unfortunately i am still a human and make mistakes (the graphs are not exactly the clearest), which is exactly why there is an edit button

I was a little suprised that my post had been edited and the web link for radiical had been removed. Censorship is an interesting thing?

The petra write up was fascinating, having heard their was no point in buying gear like DangerDen, I was also sort of putting Radiical in to the same 1/2" basket. So I went for Alphacool blocks and Swiftech DDc pump as it came with the 3/8" barbs, (this is not Europe, choice of pump equipment very limited).

Having gone for the slower of the DDC (11W version), does a petra top offer any real advantage?

The Petra top design is improvement due to 1) angle of outlet

2) enlarged ports

?

Thanks for the information. :worship: (also I did not read all the thread replies)
