I'd be able to contribute to that forum quite a bit as well, but I think the main problem with the idea is that OC3D is a hardware enthusiast oriented community. Not many people would think to come here for web programming assistance or similar subjects.

Well saying that you got to think how everything works, the hardware has to be programmed and coded by some people. This is how software works obviously, so without software there would be no hardware. I can code an operating system with basic stuff, but this takes years of development. Just a thought anyway , I'm sure you can widen the variety of people, rather than hardware enthusiasts.
