PCP&C have released what they are claiming as the worlds first 1kw PSU.
This produces 1000w constant power, peaking at 1100w.
God damn knows who'll need that much juice - but whoever does the PCP&C solution will supply it: and judjing from the rest of their product range: supply it very cleanly and efficiently (85% efficiency with .99 Power Factor Correction (PFC))
With a 12v RAIL @ 66 amps of total output (70 amps peak), I don't think any component would want for power, though your electirc bill could certainly want for discounts!!
