Well its certainly worth getting, as its pretty much the second best graphics card on the market at the moment (next to to the 7800gtx).

As for overclocking, as a guess i'd say that it would probably be able to get it up to GTX speeds, maybe further?

Kempez is your man when it comes to the 7800 series, and i'm sure he'll answer your questions a bit better than i have

The GT should OC to speeds similar to that of the 7800GTX. BUT its does not appear to have unlockable pipes - so no modding there

might need better cooling but you can certainly get a good oc out of them

If you havent bought already. 7800gtx can be found new for £350 new so i would suggest you spend abt £60 extra and get the 7800gtx

I was sure I saw someone flash to a GTX succesfully..

They're there.. They have gotta be able to be unlocked somehow!

That's how you unlock it.

Click the check marks next to it.

Yeah but I think there's some protection stopping you do that from what I've read. Maybe not.

If you click the blank area next to them...check marks will appear.

That enables them.

If theres some type of protection it'd tell you under H/W MASK.

You cannot unlock the pipes on the GT....there are many and varies posts about this on XS and the concensus is: you cannot do it.

Apparently the reviews by sites that had pre-release GT's were done with enginering samples and these are different to the production samples. So there ya go: no matter how much ticking you do you wont have an unlocked GT...
