Knowing this government, they will make it a fineable offence.
Then they'll give the forces budget to create squads specifically targeting this "crime"
Then targets will be added.
All the while, you are being burgled and call the police to help, but there will be no available officers for crimes that do not affect businesses
Ever notice how people who commit fraud and bank robberies serve more time than those who murder someone in cold blood
And we all laughed at the idea that the police could be privatised by big corperations like in robocop. Instead they suck the taxpayers funds and then look after the big businesses while they go and pay their taxes in the Cayman islands and other tax havens

There's money to be made from declaring password sharing illegal, that's the only reason they even care.

You can't blame the tories. When a new law is voted in it's all of the politicians doing so.
And it's not just this country. In fact, America is worse. You don't even want to know how harsh the punishment is for uploading a new movie. It literally ruins your entire life.
This is all about money, as usual. And tbh? it's not even the govts making these decisions but their overlords, the fat cat businessmen.
Same reason why the govt spend hours upon hours every day deleting links to torrent sites and doing stuff like this.
TBH I am done with sh*tflex. It's crap. A lot of the shows I loved have been canned. I will see out this month, then unsub.
But aye, this is typical "Hey every one we are your friends, give us munnehs!" and then "OK we got you now, hand over the munnehs no more Mr nice rich man !".

I'm just tired of the money mad people, It's greed on top of greed, They can't settle for a good amount of profit to pay themselves, Employees, Fund new projects, Nope, It has to be profit on top of profit on top of profit on top of profit, The Ferengi of Star Trek would be impressed by these people.

It has always been that way dude. If you study history you would find out some truly ghastly stuff.
Quick example - tokens. They were useless for everything. But builders and workers would be paid with them. At which point all they could buy with them was food. Moldy old food and bread made with plaster powder instead of flour. They would have enough to buy ale, and get drunk every day - rinse and repeat. That was their life for hard work, beer, food and nothing at all else.
And who was selling them this beer and food? the same bastud making the money out of them working. Their employer.
If you fast forward to today? not much has changed. Poor people pay more for everything. If you are on a meter? you pay nearly twice as much for energy. They have tons of debt with the bank and CC, they spend their lives chasing that and paying off interest. Every spare penny they have goes to the rich man.
It won't get better. Greed knows no bounds, and the more people become rich the worse it will get.
Well there are rumors Microsoft might purchase Netflix, so perhaps we will see things improve. Considering Netflix is hammered in Debt, and MS are so flushed with cash, their acquisitions never end perhaps they can turn the hate around and NF will stop cancelling successful shows that apparently cost too much to make or maintain.
