RMA'd PSU and vid card will be here tomorrow and Richardson Tech. will have an answer for me as to whether or not my motherboard got fried and if the new cpu I bought is ok (which I'm 99% positive it's gone).

Thx kemp! Parts come in today and I hope all goes well....

Drank about $50 in alcohol and got a bit tipsy with the guys, it was a good night :)

Thx man! With any luck the FedEx guy will stop by my store and drop off my parts there, his route goes by my store and my house :)

And since I know the guy so well from ordering so much shit from newegg he knows to drop stuff off at the store when he has stuff on his truck for me and it's addressed to my house.

We'll see, I'm gonna leave a note on the door to leave everything if for some reason he doesnt bring it to the store.

Nah I don't think so... I won't be able to get into town to pick up my mobo/cpu until Wednesday.

If my CPU turns up dead then they'll have to order me a new one and I don't know how long that will take to get in.

But, if the CPU is dead I'm going to try and see if they will credit the price of that Winnie towards a 3800+ Venice... That'd be the hottness!

fact they sent ya parts must mean that they are replacing all ur parts (or am i inducing false hope); keeps us updated (i hope this retailler realises that they will infulence the modding/xtreme community with their RMA decision)

Newegg is THE best when it comes to RMA'ing stuff... It doesn't matter what you do to it as long as its still within that 30 day RMA window they'll send you brand new replacements no questions asked.

Damn I wish they had newegg here! Aria took ages to look at my motherboard and then decide it was faulty. Might have to buy from them!!! :D

The last bad cpu I remember was an Intel P60 and the last one I killed was a Cyrix 233 after about a ~20% overclock and the hs fan stopped.

IMO, cpu death is not something to worry about...motherboard and memory and/or the compatibility of motherboard and memory would be where I'd begin.

Awfully good to hear the rma and return process went well...hooray for the seller.

I assume we can hear about the final solution as soon as ya have all the parts?
