Parallels Desktop 3.0 Now with Native 3D Acceleration

This week the 3D version of Parallels Desktop for Mac (version 3.0) was made official, launching the much anticipated support for 3D acceleration.

Seriously, this is nuckin futz! I thought they had said there was no way to do this @ the original release because OS X had already allocated the GPU's resources for the OS. Dangit, this is sweet!!

I remember a video a few months ago where they said they were working on it (mainly because VMWare has it already). They did say it would be ok for simple stuff like effects on Vista etc, but I doubt you will get as much FPS out of it as you would from Crossover (wine/darwine).
 
Aye, I indeed love my Mac's :) I especially love hearing about stuff like this, just another reason Mac's pwn PC's, w00t!
