I quite liked The Sims years ago but now it's a bit graphically dated. Someone else having a go would be interesting especially with modern visuals.

I think a lot of people our age and older have great memories of the Sims. Dunno if you've seen what a cash grab it's become though since it went free to play. Someone on one of the gaming sites did the calculation of what it would cost to own the full package and it was eye watering. I think game + all expansions was 400 dollars or so and all items on top of that was something mental like 74k! lol

I don't mind DLC in general, but when the game is designed to be that way it shows, i guess it generally depends on just how much DLC they want to add, that train game comes to mind i'd never buy it.

TBH I don't think a Paradox version will be any better for the amount of DLC, just look at the rest of their games.
