PAE + 4GB + XPhome = ?

i have 3 comps sitting in front of me at the moment, all a bit different.....

PC A - amd64 3000+ with 2x256m, 2x1G Ram - PAE

PC B - intel D805 with 2x2x512 Ram - cant find it

PC C - intel 6300 with 2x1G Ram - PAE

now, from the very little i know......PAE ON, means XP32bits can USE 4GB Ram, yes? and window can SEE ALL THAT 4GB of Ram, yes?

if so, with PC A, and PC C, i can just throw more Ram at it, with limit of not going over 4GB, then XP will see it, and will use it.....right?

im asking in here for 3 reasons.......1-i have a few sticks of cheapo ram left, so 'selection for binning' is in order.

2 - i have NO IDEA what the comp i've built (PC A) is being used for, everytime i nip round to see who is using my comp, its always using 80% of ram! so i think more ram chould make it better.....for who ever that uses it!

3 - i have no idea what i've just read in google.....so i come back here for help!

Just so u understand, Gibi is a term some1`s trying to force us to use for Giga, so Giga can be use to mean something it doesn`t.

It`s all a conspiracy I tells ya !

Oh and Kibi they want u to use for Kilo, for some reason tho byte remains the same - something we can be thankful for. Bibte ?
