P182 Retardness

Take a close look at the back of the P180 next to the P182, what do you see ? No apart from the 2 pre drilled holes for tubing...

What _I_ see is the most retarded thing ever, the side of the case panel COVERING two of the screw holes for the fan at the back ! How the hell are you supposed to fit a radiator on the back and close the side of the case ?!

*Sigh* Time to find a new case I guess... or take a hacksaw to my P182

just get a dremmil, and in the lip, where the case side goes over where the fan screw holes are, just make a U cut, so the fan screws can fit easiely

What im trying to say is I have a BIX2 on the back with a fan between it and the case but I cant put the side case on, Ill show you a pic later...

ionicles idea is a good one just nip off the part of the side panel that blocks...

and if you dont want to trim the whole fan length down then i suggest you move the fan to the other side of the rad..

Woah. I've got the P180 and had the P182 and never noticed that.

Have they just extened teh lip on the side pannel? Cos' i sware the P182 was ever so slightly wider:eh:

Ah I understand now, they've moved everything to the right to allow for room behind the motherboard to enable easier cable tidying.

It sounded like Ionicle meant just cut holes where the holes for the screws are, I need the whole length of it cut.
