Overclocking intel d 830 3 ghz

Hello I'm new to overclocking.

Could anybody tell me (in detail) how to overclock my rig.

I have an intel D 830 processor running at 3 ghz

4 gb dual channel ddr2 at 533mhz

g force 7600 gt with 256 mb

foxconn motherboard 945 chipset

This is a two year old machine which i bought for AutoCAD;ArchiCAD;3dstudioMAX;Photoshop;Sonyvegas and gaming

I was wandering how much i can squeeze out from this machine before i buy a new one.

A mate of mine has the XFX 7600GT XXX and he can get decent framerates on Crysis and Assassins Creed with Medium/High details. Runs pretty well considering its one of the older cards.
