Overclocking 3930k

I my trying to overclock my 3930k and ram i am useing OCCT , CPU-Z



/volt Core/ /Speed / /Temp/
1.150/ /4.2/ ----- 30 mins tested
1.200/ /4.2/ /67c hottest core 66c TWPIN 3--------- 30 min test
1.250/ /4.2/ / 72c hottest core 30 min test
1.250/ /4.4 / /Crashed and soon as occt starte
1.300 / /4.4/ /77c hottest core 79c TWPIN 3 --------15 min test

At the Min i have 1.200v at 4.2 and DDR3 1800 MHz ram with 9.11.11.31.2 timing , all i did was change vcore and core speed and Load line cal to Extreme and setup the ram xmp profile .

Just looking to know is there anything i can do to push it a little more ?
and Run longer tests at current setting.

Do you mean i7 3930k? Pretty sure the 3030k was the codename for Intels mobile chipset. :)

EDIT: Could an ADMIN move this thread to the CPU Overclocking page.
 
Youll need to change the chipset volts, and the supporting parts of your BIOS too. Post photos here and dont forget that youll need to take photos of the cpu settings - memory volts - and timings too.

2011 isnt basic (isnt meant to be)
 
I will post pic as soon as I get home and work out how to take pic of the bios. This is get over my head quick..

i tested it of 9 hour so min of occt and no problem and i start to use the pc and it crash turn off cold no blue screen , no writing just off help anyone ?

I try to upload a Bmp file and i all way get fail upload how you get around this ?

Hi i have i7 3930k, [FONT=comic sans ms, cursive]Rampage IV Extreme , i use foe encode vids lots of them , had mine running 4,6 but updated to new bios 4901 i think it was , i see that it used on new ivy bridge E , could u please tell me if its ok to keep using my temps are low not hot. I have two D5 pumps have benched all ok on temps ?[/FONT]
