Overclockers UK announce their £24000 8Pack OrionX

I really don't like the 8-pack logo. It's a bit... silly. I don't want some buff dude's lame logo plastered on my £25k system.
 
I love the look, hate the coolant colour. I think that is the main offender here. It's a great design but the price is ridiculous. Still, no need to get annoyed or anything :)

Being serious though for a minute, I have seen some of the bench figures for these 8 Pack PCs and they are very very quick.

I think apart from the 3 way SLI one in the OP he also has a 4 way version lurking around somewhere too.

But they're not 24 thousand pounds quick are they? Total lunacy, this is penis swinging and pretty much nothing else lol

If you know how you can build the same for a lot lot less.

One thing 8 Pack can do is bin loads of 6950X CPUs to find the best clockers for his systems, this is something people building their own systems can not do.

Looking at the pic if you look behind the two long pipes at the bottom left of the pic you can make out the tops of two red ram sticks. I assume it's a mini or micro atx board thats lying flat on the super custom water block runs above the large radiator at the bottom.

I also assume the 4th Titan X Pascal is coming off a riser from that board cos there doesn't seem to be any room, unless the crazy custom water block thing mentioned before IS actually the waterblock from the 4th titan.

Don't get me wrong ofc i'd love one but at the same time....what the actual?

This. I'm not a water cooler, but I could design a loop that isn't so cluttered and gaudy inside such an awesome chassis. However I can't get a 4.4Ghz or above 6950X. That's totally out of my hands.
 
It is just not necessary. Who is in their marketing department? They will sell 3 of these tops, for some unknown reasons. Secondary system is not needed. If they did only primary system with 2 TitanX cards it would sell in thousands. It is maybe ok for some show rig, but for anyone's PC it is just pointless. I love the looks. I love the idea of making top-end system, it is complete mental stuff, but they have overdone it, and they have ruined it.

There are plenty of other 8 Pack rigs you can buy. This is just the elite one is all. Never going to please every one, but that doesn't matter you just need to please the guy who has 24 grand for a PC ;)
