Over heating

I am getting 16gb of Dominator Gt ram and I am wondering if it needs to have some kind of fan blowing on it because there wont be andy fans in the case because I will have an exturnal unit for cooling the rest of the parts. So do I have to have some airflow in the case?

aslong as you arent overclocking the memory massively it should be ok. will all the slots be populated? because if there is a slot between each stick that would be better. i would advise atleast one fan blowing fresh air into the case to keep the motherboard chipset etc cool

Everthing including the mobo will be water cooled but the ram won't.

I might do the ram but it would be 100 bucks for the blocks because my mobo's ram slots are 4 on each side of the cpu so there will be at least 1 slot in between the ram chips.

leave it. it will be fine.

yeah they do heat up but not to that point where its dangerous, so no worries, besides dominators have good heatsinks to deal with that

You will be fine. Even if you are overclocking it you will still be fine, chances are you will become unstable long before heat becomes an issue.
