Opinions on PS-Plus?

Hi again :OC3D:!
I have a bit of a dilemma.
I'm planning on buying a 3 month subscription to PS-Plus. This'll cost me as little as €14,99.
This'll give me 3-month access to some free games, including: Sleeping Dogs.
I really want sleeping dogs, but spending another €60 on a new game after Skyrim and AC3 is just too much for now. Do you think I shoud spend that €14,99 on PS-Plus?

Sleeping Dogs with my PC Specs? Not gonna work
PS3 is only gaming option atm for me, together with the Wii :S.

Worth it, you save money and get alot of new free stuff and huge discounts etc.

I game from far away, so graphics aren't so bad for me
I think I'll get a PS-Plus 90 Day subscription. 90 Days with free Sleeping Dogs, inFamous 2 and in the future other games are great for €14,99

Definately worth it mate i rarely use my ps3 anymore but the free games pay for the subscription easily within a month or 2

Actually it immediately pays of for me
Sleeping dogs is €50 in the Netherlands and a 3-Month Subscription is €14,99

i don't care about graphics, i still play quake. but the gameplay on ps3. urgh.

How do you mean? The controller is fine to me. Actually I prefer controllers over keyboard & mouse with certain games.

For racing games I prefer a controller over kb&m big time. Thing that stops me playing ps3 is the price of the games :/

True, but PS-Plus helps that doesn't it? Huge discounts and free games every month which you can keep playing untill your PS+ subscription has ended

imagine playing quake with a console. nope. also 30 fps is a no go, no matter how far away you are from the screen.

I can pick up a ps3 for under 200 quid. i cant build a computer for that.

^^ agree about the price there! Also, because I have a really old PC and I'm not used to high-end stuff, 30 FPS seems really smooth to me. I know, I'm due to an upgrade. Though again, I'm only 16 and money doesn't grow on my back

This is a thread about PS+, not PC vs. PS3
EDIT: I've decided on taking a 3-month subscription. I would get Sleeping Dogs, inFamous 2 and on the 6th of March Mass Effect 3. And that for €14,99. 3 month access to those, and more, games for that price seems like an amazing deal to me!
