Open D N S

Has anybody heard of this? http://www.opendns.com/ or had any experience with this free dns service ?

I have used them for years instead of my ISP's DNS. There have been many times where Charter's DNS servers have crashed. With opendns I don't have to worry about it. I also use them at work.

Used it for a while, didn't like it that much.
They changed my default search engine to theirs and I could not find a way to change it back.
I'm just using Google's DNS atm.
