Macs are always beautiful. However I still have the issue that they cost a fortune and upgrades/extra's cost even more

Servicing that thing is enough to give me nightmares. I can imagine opening the back, and 100,000 circuit board springing out all over the place :p

applecare ftw!

also it is a glorified laptop with a TFT screen.

looks quite nice

don't think the gpu would be up to much tho?

ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB of GDDR3

shame really :(

glossy display might be a put-off aswell, sunflare ftl :(

Wow, its so thin...the only place i really see macs being a buying option is in laptops, and i want one for college!

tbh the price isn't all that bad on those new imacs, i mean 24" screen would be £500ish?

and it all runs on like 260w max drain.. how the hell do they do that?

The 24" one with 1gb RAM is - £1,149.00

You can get a 24" Samsung for £325+VAT :) (and prob build the same spec pc for much less than £700)

You can get a nice 24" setup for a PC with specs like mine for ~ $2000 USD
