Man, I think this is the epitomy of Uber 1337. I gotta get me one of these

download.php

Your choice of 10 x 17-40 inch monitors in a wrap around configuration... US$32,258 (17 inch monitors) or US$79,154 (40 inch monitors)

More here on the company that makes them.

Yea these do look lush. Only thing i've wondered about them is are they any good for games?

Probably not, especially as your crosshair would be right in the middle of the join on the top and bottom monitors

Maybe there would be a way to get games to play in just the middle lower screen (if you had the 40" screen setup that would be 1337). Then it wouldn't be so bad. If not though, that would definately be tricky!

and what sort of games support resolutions of like 10,000 X 2000. infact what gfx cards can do that hehe

If you won the lotto you could probably pay off nVidia / ATI to make you a custom gfx setup which would cost you a ****in boatload. But I'm sure they would do it for you for the right price.

could be nice in cargames.

but also in fps games, lower middle monitor to view forward and the rest to easily look around.

First off you would have to win the lottery just to afford the power bill from that thing. It would be great to have thought. Imagine something like 3x3 with 40" monitors :) Then you wouldn't have to worry about the crosshair in between the monitors, it would be in the dead center :)

doubt the powerbill would be that big.

my 19" tft uses up to 35w so lets say 350w.

350w isnt htat much, its even less then what i use each hour each day for an entire year.

howd u work that out? ur pc must use up at least 250w? don't u have a kettle? or an iron or washing machine?

well i use up 3240 kwh a year according to my electricity supplier.

the freezer i have is new and is in the top klass when it comes to power consumption and is specified to 300kwh.

i had 2 crt and one of them was rated 130w

i barely cook any food athome and have no lightbulbs as they are all replaced by lowenergy and even then i barely use them.

my aquarium uses about 268w a day so the computer is what uses most of the electricity.

2 crt's on over 10 hours a day is alot of power in the long run but should drop considerbly as i switched out one crt for a tft.
