Hi there guys,

Firstly I have had my OCZ Plat 3200 Rev2 for ages. I got them the first week they came out in the UK before all the hype about TCCD was launched. So mine are the older batch.

I have also had my FX53 for a while but have recently moved over to a simple watercooling system from my old Mach II GT.

Anyway, I have never really bothered to run loads of memtests to find out what my memories max was, the reason for this was that my FX53 could only do a max of about 2.67ghz with 100% stability on this cheapy water setup (3ghz on Mach II GT). So I was resinged to running 1:1 267x10 @ 2.5-3-3-6.

However, I am now running a multi of 8.5 with loads of success. I have always heard that half multi's are bad things but this seems to be running really well.

So im fully stable at 312mhz 2.5-4-3-6 1T (2.8v) 8.5x312 = 2652mhz.

Im starting to really love this RAM.. I shall find out the max for the RAM at these timings as I hope to sell this CPU and get myself a FX57 or the best of the new bunch of Venice/San Diego's.

So... id this a good performance forthis RAM? Im certainly happy with it but I wanna find out if it has anymore left in it.

Are there any downsides in running with a half multi?

This is my case.. I have placed 2x80mm fans blowing at the RAM and one at the PWM IC on the DFI SLI-DR... This probably helps with the clocking ;)
