Hey all! Just wanted to let you all know that Jim has been working hard trying to get our wap plug-in working again. So far it has been hit or miss with it working on various phones. If you all could test the software by browsing to http://forum.overclock3d.net/wap on your phones and report back with how it worked, if at all, that would be great! Thanks everyone.

Also note that the wap service is in its default state at the moment. Once we get it fully up and running it will start looking more like the OC3D forums ;)

Ah bliss, no scrolling on my PDA now either. Much better :D

Be very sexy if u could post camera photos using this.

Something Frag`d look into possibly :p

Seeing as photo`s can be cumbersome, prehaps the server could accept them and auto-resize them or something.

@Rast: That would be the sex, something we MIGHT be able to look in to. I'll have a look in to it and see whats up as Jim is busy enough as it is.

hehe, at least ya found it. there's a few little secrets to WiFo that make it easier for navigating. have you fiddled with all of the prefs yet?

Haven`t tinkered with the prefs as yet, but I am going to take a look.

I can do this also ;) and in this form I get to see lots of lovely pics :) The SPV has a few nice features, like displaying as a pc desktop or shrunk version - is quite handy. The WAP protocol is alot quicker tho, obviously.

Yeah, works well on my Nokia N73.

Wish they kept the option to view web pages in landscape (like on the e60)

Not sure if you can change the rendering quality in the options like you can on the N73. Speeds things up a wee bit.

Ya does a rendering thing, quickens the ARM up a fair bit whilst browsing, no landscape here either, well not with IE, I hear u can with other browsers for Windo$e Mobiles.

i must say that the wap page looks much bdtter in opera mini than it does in sprints crappy preloaded browser. the auto redirect doesnt work with it however :(
