Wow - now that IS green !

Good write up on the memory. The price does scare me a bit, in so much that it`d be something u buy and not too far down the line the price will drop.

What worries me is the cpuz. If u have the setup still installed, it would be prudent to run cpuz and output the .txt file from the File menu. Inside it, from what I`ve gathered to this point, may well be a fuller number of profiles for the modules and perhaps a better voltage indication than `1.5v` for everything. From what I`ve seen, the display that cpuz shows u is somewhat different to what the modules actually report back. How or why this is I`m not really sure.

CPU-Z will report what SPD tells it to report (under the SPD tab). Those are the settings available for the stock 1.5v. However to get its optimal 9-9-9-24 2000mhz speed then you will either need EPP profiling on your motherboard or set those timings individually with a recommended voltage of 2.0v.

I'll see what the .txt file says too when I get a chance and report back ;).

That`s the thing. Too and fro`ing with Franck, the SPD output isn`t always what the SPD of the modules reports. And it reports 1.5v for memory that fails to boot under 1.5v with 1.9v on the stickers ;)

I`ve also suggested sticking a horizontal scroll bar in the SPD display window as quite often there are 6 or so presets and the display as it is only shows 4.
