webbo had a chance to take Matrix Orbital's latest LCD display for a few laps around the block.

Nice bit of reviewage. I`ve always liked these but never had an opportunity to use one. £75 is semi ok as a price, probably the ceiling of what I`d pay for one tbh.

Question that I may`ve missed: do u get the feature to setup multiple displays and then select or cycle thru them with the remote ? (I`m assuming u can)

Also regarding the remote, will it/did it allow interaction with other apps ?

Looks like a winner, possibly undecided if it`s a £75 piece of kit. (I`d probably um & arr about it and then buy one)

Didn't think it would be something that interests me much but actually it looks a very good product. Something that I would definitely consider.

Didn't take a pic of the remote PV :(

Cheers for your kind comments as always m8.

Yup, as stated in the review you can cycle through the screens you create but not with the remote (at least not when I tried), you use LCD Studio to configure the cycling properties. The remote is primarily to control media center applications, which if you set the screen up to display said applications then it will display some info on said applications so yes, the remote will work with the screen, from a certain point of view.;)

Cool...have been looking for a good panel/remote combo that doesn't give you a headache in Vista x64 (silverstone and the lcd on the Antec Fusion 430 HTPC case both seemed to cause random usb failiures for some reason, although that was a few months back) ... Nice to see someone likes classic house too, altern-8 .... I saw them at the attic in manchester about a year back...cracking :D
