Oblivion Fighter's Stronghold (Free official content)

Apparently, the last official download from Bethesda for this epic game.

Defeat the attacking marauders and become lord of Battlehorn Castle. Located in the Colovian Highlands west of Chorrol, this expansive castle will allow you to live the life of a noble warrior, with private quarters, grand dining hall, wine cellar, barracks, training room and more. And what castle would be complete without a few hidden passages and dark secrets?

*A fully detailed castle for you to explore

*Knights of the True Horn patrol the castle and do your bidding

*Upgrade the furnishings in every area of the castle

*Hire a vintner to create special wines to enhance your fighting abilities

lol.. never. Oblivion will live on!

I think Bethesda will not make any more 'officail' add-ons. It'll be down to enthusiasts to make the mods now.
 
Usually the third party mods for elder scrolls are way more in depth than the official ones.

Also, it's kinda good there will be no more updates, they played havoc with some of my save games and mods.
 
I played this again last week, don`t ask. Got to play Fifa Manager 08 from friday/saturday onwards so it`s not all bad.

Anywho, I got my char stuck between a rock and a wall - any ideas ? Won`t jump cos char can`t touch the floor.

Like not to go back to the previous save >.< But it would seem the only logical thing.

happened to me a number of times, especially when in oblivion where i try to find shortcuts up the rocks ;) just remember to save lots!

oh and the castle is really cool, although I would have liked to have seen a room to store all your stuff in one place like
 
you can no clip by typing tcl in the console, make sure no other actor is targetted, or it will make them no clip. Type it again to stop.

There used to be a command that put you forward 128/192 things forward. Which didn't constitute cheating. Not sure if the above one does though.

shame the console isn't accessible on xbox, I suppose its to stop people falsely gaining achievements

I`ll give that no clip thing a try.

Number of issues with this game tho. Found running on horse northwards towards this cragspirey thing.. and the screen went black. Still see the ui. Reload the game and it`d do it again.

Only fix I figured was to go into a dungeon, go back out - sorta force the game to reload the map at that point kinda thing.

(this is the gold/game of year/special edition/up to date versiony thing)

Deserves reppage when the thought of the previous save gives u shivers :)

There are loads of great console commands, but i am weak and start using them to do everything.

It ruins it for me, but you might be ok with them.
 
Neh, unless a game gets really sucky and I just want to watch everything unfold b4 filing it, I cba.

This will be on hold after tonite anyway cos I gotta move on.
