NZXT Switch 810 - Watercooled

Hey guys, so a while ago I tried my hand at my first watercooling loop which was just the CPU. Since then I have started getting the urge to expand the loop, plus I needed to upgrade so I though I would give it a shot and try out it out. Here are the end results so far. There are still a few things I want to do including lighting and braiding some cables etc etc but it gives you an idea of where I am up to.

As always definitely interested in any feedback you guys have - I'm here to learn this stuff and it being just my second loop I'm still very much under that noob status!

Cool rig,

Fellow G1 Owner :)
Sniper 3 is a nice board, not killed with a pistol heat sink, i like it almost as much as the original G1.

ha ha - thanks mate. I always wanted the original G1 but couldn't afford to get it at the time. Ever since then I have been wanting to get one but those heat sinks deterred me somewhat....until now ;)

G1 Assassin 2 is horrible, G1 Assassin and G1 Sniper 3 both look great :)

I am hoping they bring out an G1 Assassin 3 for X79 chipset that actually looks good, then i'm upgrading!

Thanks guys, it really has been a learning curve for me but with the Switch 810 it really was pretty much throw your stuff at it and it just comes together nicely.

Glad you guys approve ;)

Nice build in that Switch, I myself have one, any thoughts with regards to swapping out that EX for perhaps a thicker 360 in the front? Looks like there's a lot of room there?

No probs - the res I used is EK-Multioption RES X2 - 250 Advanced on top of the EK D5 X-Rest Top. The res top came with a 100mm or so tube res which looked dwarfed in the switch 810 so wanged the 250mm on top. Gives it a bit more of a prominent feature in the build which is what I wanted to see.

and really sorry to keep asking questions but where did you get your parts from? :)

No probs mate - I'm in Aus so I ordered my parts locally. Mostly from Gammods or The Koolroom. I have ordered a few things direct from EK though (GPU Backplates etc).

As for the pump and top I haven't used that particular top before but it looks to be basically the same (except for the CSQ design) to the one I currently have, which is great. No major noise or vibration at all. I am currently using the XSPC Vario D5, which is awesome from my experience too. I only run it at 3 out of 5 speed - cool temps and hardly any noise. Brilliant imo.
