Great review & video Guv, that case is epic for the price with its features, that roof is just begging to be modded :) at £55 it's a modders dream, actually looking forward to seeing what folks can do with this chassis.

Love the review Tom. Lovely budget case. One thing should be noted is that the x41 and thicker AIO wont fit. This quote below is from newegg review response to a 1 star review. NZXT put in the response:
We are sorry you are having a bit of trouble with the Kraken x41 fitting into the front of the case. The front area of the S340 has 60mm to total spacing to mount a radiator and fans. The kraken x41 AIO unit has a 36mm radiator and a 25mm for the fan, which brings to total to 61mm, which is to big for the front of the case. The Kraken x31 and x61, will both fit into the front of the case, due to the size of the Radiator being 27mm for each one and 25mm for the fans, coming out to a total of 52mm.

I love the cable cover, so be careful of what you plan on putting in the front

They actually fit fine - case was designed for it.....

Thanks for the clarification Tom. I noticed something on NZXT's page when I went to look at what they said. They show the case in their photos with removable and screwed in slot covers. Wonder why they only mention x31 and x61 AIO compatibility on their page.

I really love this one. Might be using it for the computers coming up for christmas for my twins.

Awww yeah, waiting for stock at OCUK. According to them it arrives the day before my birthday, meaning that it should get delivered on my birthday. Will be a nice little presant for me, from me :p

You might want to rethink the white gold award Tom, as I'm sure the review samples don't have the removable pci-e bracket, but the retail version does.

Anther great review though mate, great for 60 quid.

I demand that the price will be changed to a white gold award.

As i understand it, its only the earliest cases that comes with the one time use unly pci covers. And that the newer revisions of the case comes with reuseable ones.

All pictures from nzxt shows reusable pci covers. And all the other videos shows them to.

And allso:

I highly doubt TTL is going to change his mind on this, maybe if NZXT had sent him a Press Sample with the replaceable PCI covers the outcome would be a very different. But TTL can only rate the hardware based on what he has originally been sent.

I myself agree that it does deserve the Gold and Value Awards, if it was my decision it would remain the same not only for the PCI plates but also that the roof is black and not white also for very little extra ££ they could have included a 140mm magnetic dust filter to cover the roof fan, then and only then would I have given it the white gold - but that's just me. All in all it is a modders wet dream and has so much potential.

Nice review tom, personally I watch your reviews weather it be cheap or expensive cases if it's getting a video it must be something above the norm.

I like the sleek look of this and how compact it looks through the window. think my poor old Haf-x days are getting numbered

Nice case especially for the price, but correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't that front panel restrict the airflow?

The front panel do not restrict airflow. The top/bottom gap is 1". While the inside is about 1-2" roughly.
With 2x 140mm fans in front I felt air being pulled from top/bottom

I see. Tbh if i was to buy that case i would have to make a few changes especially to the front panel but that's what modding is all about :-D. I think it would look lovely with a smoked plastic front.

Don't get me wrong though, for the price the case is a bargain.

I was really expecting white gold on it, Guv..
It really worths white gold to me

I'm still in a dillema between 5.25 drive bays or a clean looking front. :/

Great review Guv!

Thrown a spanner of sorts in the works, was looking to do a build in an Inwin 901/904 but due to the price/aesthetics of this thing, its got to be in with a chance now.

Decision, decisions....

Ta again for the review.
