NZXT S340 wowsers

I've just been sent a link via FB to what looks like the sexiest NZXT case yet, there isn't a whole lot to see, but what is visible looks honking gorgeous, it's just a shame it's only a render. Plus to sweeten the poy, with it being one of their source models, it's dirt cheap, $69 wich converts to £41, so a possible £50 stunner.

I've just found a better link, plenty more pictures, and it looks even better than I thought.

Surely this won't be just £50  it looks like a much higher quality and better designed product than nearly everything on the mainstream market right now. I woulda thought they'd be coming in around £80 personally, I hope it does well and they continue this ethos over to bigger and small cases and get some more premium materials and finishes.

By no means is it the sexiest NZXT case, that goes to the Phantom 240 pure sleek porn  but I love this cases straight simple aesthetics, for 50 slips of paper this is going to do well, especially with it's features.

You would think it would be more than £50, but it's for pre order in the States for $69. It looks like a whole lot of case even if it did come in at £80.

Nah I like this over the Phantom 240, they have done the Phantom to death.

It looks perfect for my M-ATX build I need to finish, it's either this or the Air 240.

This! The Air 240 is going to get done to death.. while it's cute and all, it's still just the 540 wanna be.

I no mate, that's why I've held of on pre ordering one, I can see people doing mini me builds with the Air 540, and a matching Air 240.

Dayum, NZXT are on a roll with their cases lately. If this comes in at £50 it will be a bargain.

EDIT: Just saw these pics posted on Eteknix

With a nicely cut white acrylic panel and some stand offs you could make a roof for it, then it would be perfect.

Yea it needs a roof, or something, or even one of those Koolance shrouds painted white, looking at a proper picture you can tell it's a source. That top is a bit of a let down actually, they would have been better leaving the roof solid, and having the front for a H100i to make a nice basic clean build.

Strange no retailers have them up for preorder yet according a Tom's Hardware news articale about it it is being released on the 15th. I have a feeling it will be replacing my Switch if it does come in at £50, pending reviews of course. :D

EDIT:

Looks like we might be waiting till October in the UK :(

I tried to pre order via NZXT the only options are the USA, and Puerto Rico, and it ships for them any way, in 1 to 2 weeks. Lucky buggers.

Seems like a first little mod case beginners can try out for. Looks good, cheap, and seems to have a lot of places where you could improve. The top for example. Cutout some fan mounts and put a rad on there like one of those Koolance external ones and it would look sweet. Can't say much bout anything else since i haven't seen much of it.

Absolutely love the fact there are no 5.25bays as such, brilliant looking case. Might well be my upgrade from this crappy aerocool number I'm running right now, looks like a strong contender.
