CDPR are also releasing a day 1 patch to improve graphics, Looks like they may have admitted to the famous "Downgrade" :p

Can't find an English version but for those of us who speak German, GameStar are one of the first to report this -

Thank god for that

Lately I'm becoming a bit wary if a new driver (said as ready for a specific game or not) would break some of my games...

Sorry but I don't see how nvidia could be the GPU of choice for any PC gamer.

Once they change their ethics, maybe.

Probably because they have everything needed for a gamer in their software, Frame counter, 1-Click optimizations, Recording that is actually stable and has some proper quality options, Drivers that are released for every major game.

And 1 that is actually key, they interact A LOT more with the community than AMD do, That alone can sway a lot of peoples minds.

mmm I was actually under the imporession that AMD was more into in teracting with the community than Nvidia, but I have nothing to back it up...

AMD usually reply with "we are investigating the issue" and ends there. But I can't comment on Nvidia because I stay away from their forums, its either fanboyism or outrage ranting spam so finding a reply from Nvidia means trawling through the crap.

They only say that with Gameworks titles.. such as Dying Light. Both AMD and the devs are trying to solve the Crossfire issue but neither can come up with a solution. This is what Gameworks can potentially do.

10FPS drop for Nvidia on avg and 15FPS drop for AMD on avg.. Dang. Turn down foliage one setting and get another 10FPS, which means for AMDs users like me, i would hardly lose any FPS:)
