Nvidia releases their Geforce 398.82 WHQL driver for Monster Hunter World & WOW

According to a few videos I've watched of the closed beta on PC, Performance of MHW seems to be actually fairly good.

Here's a video with a 980 Ti and 6700K, 1080P, Max settings @ 2:44 and it's getting around 60FPS so not exactly bad considering the hardware.

I hope this fixes my issues in WoW. Micro-stuttering and gsync issues as well as low frames for a few weeks now.

I think that's just the dated engine, A lot of times I could be just standing in the middle of nowhere and my FPS would tank to maybe 15FPS, I'd open up Afterburner and see my GPU usage would drop to maybe 10% at best.

It's been butter smooth for me. Hitching and micro-stuttering are sooooo damn annoying so it stuck out right away. nVidia was blaming it on Windows 10 1803 update. After the last driver release nVidia said on their forums the next driver would have the fix. Hopefully it actually does...going to install now.

I have not experienced that in WoW for years. Only thing that does that these days are addons. Especially these popular all in one UI packages.

I think the engine has been updated alot but still somewhat dated yes. Dx12 still far from usable with nvidia though. but I haven't seen my fps drop below 60 for a long time, even standing in Dalaran during peak time.

hmmblah, are you using Details and Elvui? I read those are causing problems lately.
