Hmm it doesn't really go into what hardware it will run on. I would think it would use one or two of the SPE's, rather than the GPU, which needs all of it's power to play the games on really

Unless this physx stuff is now graphics hardware independent, isn't it supposed to run on nvidia GPU hardware (which the SPE's are not)?

Well PhysX was designed by Ageia to run on their PPU's, so I see no reason why it couldn't use an SPE.

The problem I see is that the PS3 GPU doesn't have the extra headroom an 8 series and above does.
 
consoles suck just wish they were upgradeable!!! as they have more choice of games than pc's

wouldn't it be nice if some1 could design an operating system which would play console games!!

consoles cant even keep up with their own games as it is without adding physix on top
 
Consoles are a steady platform for developers to make games on.

I like PC games and PC gaming, but consoles are a good thing for gaming on balance, in my opinion
