I've always thought the C7's were crap and i was under the impression that atoms were no longer in short supply. What source are you using for the article?

I don't think the C7s were crap per se. They had a lot of specialised uses. I use one in my pico ITX that sits under my DVD drive in my computer. Its faster than the eeePC and is very power efficient. It will very happily run XP and is quite snappy in that respect for music, web and office use. It will even handle ipod sized videos. So the C7 (even at a whole 1GHz) isn't useless its just not up to Vista or power use.

Also I though the plan was to use edens not C7s. I may be wrong tho.

Yeah, the nanos (not the edens d'oh) they probably won't do as many IPS but they will be efficient. Even my C7 box at home draws about 20W, which is probably what the big one draws while it is off but still plugged in and powered up at the power supply.
