im to lazy to right much but is anyone else having troubles with the new nvidia drivers 310.70 driver i install it and my display crashes and then says it has recovered and is annoying ive just went to an older driver untill i can learn more and i dont really know what info to put in here im running 2 msi gtx 560 in sli on amd motherboard

right on dudes, i didnt even know there was a 310.90 lol

i also just ruined my bios because of that stupid 310.70 bull s*** now my rigs heading to the shop... anyways

Firstly, just because a driver didn't work.. doesn't make nVidia suck.. In all likelihood you probably didn't remove the previous driver properly, or install the new one correctly. Or failing that it might just be incompatible. 560's aren't exactly on their cutting edge lines anymore, might be something got missed...

Secondly how on EARTH do you think that a driver ruined you bios?
 
Pretty sure the driver was fooked. I updated my Bro's drivers, yes I did remove the previous version, and it constantly crashed out.
 
I am on .70 and having issues with game crashing and relaunching. Will try the new drivers and report back guys.
 
Always uninstall old drivers, then run driversweeper. Then install new drivers.

Left over driver files aren't anyones friend.
 
As above, drivercleaner is your friend!

Also are we talking WHQL drivers or Beta?

i ruined my bios trying to reinstall everything fresh

just pissed about wrecken things i love nvidia with my whole entire hart and am about to throw the towel in on my build just because of all the head ackes with this puppy so there it is in a nut shell

i just got done reading your other post on your 990 systemboard and BIOS issues
with it.. im thinking other flacky issues may be in your way.
here you have two devices with two aledged corupt BIOS and still no fixes.
 
In my case I did safe and sweep, still .70 was awfull, I'm thinking it could be
more of a hardware issue, Attn trolls.

yeah i just dont know bro it was the driver problems first and then i tryed to do a fresh o/s and @bios said i had an update for bios and thats what crashed the bios , my bad i geuss
