I doubt they will, mainly due the the shrink in architecture. but you cant really tell at this point in time.

I'm shocked these went through the system, we don't like the tower connectors as they can be stressed physically. Argument is pcie connectors aren't for frequent plug/unplugging.
The main reason is to accomodate a cooler and not having to use 2x 6pin or a 6 & 8 side by side. (and having to cut the corner off the one, like we saw before).
Nice option to mount all 3 tho, especially x2 cards. Jack up them watts ! Enthusiasts aren't exactly tree huggers by default.

It's... weird... to say the least. I'd definitely prefer a normal power connector, that's for sure.

Solder points seem to indicate it can take an 8 pin plus a 6 pin stacked, then another 6 pin next door.
Can't see the advantage of stacking the 6 pins, but even more importantly, if the reference design has the layout for an 8 pin and two 6 pins, the top GK104 based cards are going to be power hungry beasts! And as we all know, more power = more heat = more noise

correct me if im wrong but wouldnt 1 8 pin do the same job as this and not be so funky? 6 ping = 75 watts 8=150 irrc?

I also fear Kepler will be a noisy, hot mess of a GPU lineup, but i really hope it doesn't end up like this.
