NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v4.5b Program Released

You cant really mess up your card with it. if you try to flash to a bios thats not specific to your card (card # ect) it will say wrong card ID. The only thing you can do is customize your original bios with clock speeds and memory timings and a few other things. If it dosent accept if you have a spare card you can use it to flash your other card back to its original bios. Kinda fool proof really.

Depends on the company your working with really. Im not familiar with how the UK version of these companies run though so i cant really tell you. Here in the US i only know of 3 companies that you can get away with modding the card. XFX, eVGA, and BFG. Sometimes BFG gives you some crap about following through with their warranty.

XFX(US) i know for certain they will replace anything wrong with any card 6 series and up.

Yeah same with our manufactures over here bud, they are all the same.. manufactured in the same place so I don't see why there should be a different warranty policy! :)

I can assure you the American warranty is alot different than the rest of the world. On my other forum we get ALOT of UKers who complain that we will get a card RMAd no matter what but the UK RMA dept for XFX dosent really do shiz.

EVGa is a pain!!... my 9800 GX2 stopped working for abit and they wouldnt replace it they told me to go through the company i bought my pc from :(

So much for 10 year warrenty lol

Lol thats what im talking about. If you where in the US youd get a new one no problem.

It also helps the way you talk to them.. If you blare it out at them from the first minute they're going to be very unlikely to replace your card (not saying you were!) but be in a good mood although your card has broken down.. but make sure that you speak to them with respect and realise that they are only there to help you ;)
