Im planning on upgrading my video card sooner or later , i have an XFX8800GTS 320 XXX version , i was wondering whether this card outperforms it or same range , if its not worth buying i will wait till January and get a whole new rig from scratch hopefully with some 9series

I have the sneaky sneaky that that Fox one, and the spec list, is what our friend linked to on the forum the other day.. b4 it mysteriously went blank.. probably in the ole temp folder somewheres tho.

Like the shape on these cards tbh, they do all look like reference cards with pretty pictures on them. You can almost picture the XFX one u`rself without too much imagination.

Looking at the clocks, going by past experiences, that u`d be able to push the gpu to around 650 and the mem to 2000, out of the box. Who knows with a wc.

This is all part of the great tease tho, not happy with that >.<

I expect adding a half decent dual slot air cooler would be enough, that single slot one cant do much for it.. with 112SP's and only 16rops/tmu's. I think the shader clock will be extremly important in this card. Hell with enough of an OC on the shader then its performance theoretically equals that of the GTX

I personaly like the single slot cooler instead. DOsent make your machine turn into a monster.

Indeed - and hog what may turn out to be u`r only pci slot or something.
