well first of all ive only managed 2 get my cpu stable at 3.7 with 1.75vcore, but i also dnt think i ave proper contact wid my mach II its idle at -12 to -15 in bios. that cnt b right?? ive used the least seal string poss on the head and still cnt get better contact. also ive scored higher on my setup wid my old zalman cu heatsink with my P4 @ 3.4
 
m8 which cpu do u have that seems like a hell of a VCore for that clock

atm, im @ I 4380 mhz (292 fsb) 1.7250 v core with drop mod with pc 3500's @ 3.3V 5:4

sry just seen the spec maby its a funny chip, never seen that one b4

In the xtreme systems article they mention that on some mobo's if u lower the profile of the top part of the cpu mount then it might upset the Vcore regulator by insulateing it with the seal string, maby this is effecting you?

well i my uncle owns a computer shop so i guess ill change it 2moro 4 another 1. but ye i kno 1.75 does seem alot. hmmm jus bad chip i guess. i might go 4 a 3gig or maybe a 3.2. but also my cpu temps seem high. u kno any links with a guide that shows how 2 get good contact with the cpu?
 
they have taken the one from xtreme systems down but i have it on my pc @ home, will be happy to email it to you 2night if u give me ur msn / email / irc whatever
 
wot memory divider are you uusing? if u dony know, download cpuz and find out, i think its likely your machine is using a poor divider, also wot timings are your ram at?
