whats the difference between a Prometeia Mach 2 ST , a Prometeia Mach 2 and a Prometeia Mach 2 GT. which is the quietest?

Hi Cheap,

The Prometeia 2 ST is a cut down version - it offers r134a and NO LCD or USB.

The Prometeia 2 is the standard unit offering r134a and LCD and USB.

The Prometeia 2 GT is the top end official unit offering r404a and LCD and USB.

Then there are my custom units offering r507 and better cooling heads, SLI units and waterchillers.

They are all pretty quiet and can all be controlled via the software (apart from the ST model).

Generally the lower the temps you get the higher you have to have the fans, so you will not be able to turn the fans down as far on the r404a and r507 ones as the compressor is working harder.

That is accurate MasterG but I used to run my fans at silent or normal with my GT when idle - and could leave it like that 24/7 so you get the best of both worlds.
