NoKz's Rig Code Named: Titan

Hello everyone! I'm bored at work and decided to post my newest rig. I built it last Friday (4/15/11) and have been loving it ever since! It's running at 5GHz and is stable as can be. Load temps can hit as high as 72c when benchmarking and about 30c at idle. She definitely has more in her, but don't want to push it further without a full WC system. Tell me what you all think.

Nice and tidy. Just a shame about that 8 pin CPU cable. WOuld it not fit round the back and then over the top-left side? Think I can see a cut out for it there.

Anyway, nice rig

is it stable?

if it was just for benching purposes - well done

H20s aren't that brilliant!!! not even WITH push/pull!!! (yours is just pull)

what temps are you getting under prime (or stress)?

@Karlos: It's just short enough to not reach from behind the board.

@Dug: It's very stable, under prime95 temps can hit near 80c. But gaming, its around low to mid 70's.

Nice looking rig mate, you should swap out your red sata cables for black and buy an 8pin extension cable.

Maybe invest in a second fan for push pull, it'll make about 5-6.c temp difference.

p.s love the cm690 II

lol - i start to panic when both my rigs start to wander into the late 50s - i don't like scorchio!

Haha, me too. However, those temps are only under benchmarking. I was playing Portal 2 for about 2 hours last night and never broke mid 50's. So I think it's fine.

Thanks!

Those red sata cables go to the top hard drive dock and e-sata on the case. I've been too lazy to swap them out, but will be doing so once my new fans arrive. I'll also look for an 8 pin extension.

nice rig, are the PSU brand any good? never heard of them before

Nspire is the brand of wholesaler ASI. They're our vendor for most parts I order at work. I'm not sure who actually makes the PSU, but they've been pretty rock solid and at a good price.

Thanks!

Looks tidy, try putting the 8pin between the mobo and back through the cpu cut-out as Tom previously suggested.

Your rigs are AMD.. well except your snowwhite win and AMDs don't last very long when the going gets hot.

I'd have to agree however that all these pseudo-water coolers are crap. Ditch the Kuhler and get a Darkrock pro if you want to stick to your black theme or just get a Noctua like all the cool kids did
