Noctua introduces NF-P12 high-impedance fan

sounds like a great idea, but im gonna have to pass, 3 fans for a tripple rad? thats 75 dollars and plus shipping, crazy i say

I agree on the price thing, fitting a tripple rad would be costly. But consider how many people spend hundred of pounds every few months upgrading CPUs which they still wont push the capabilities of for another 3 years.

See these as more of a single purchase anyway. They move enough air to cool smaller cases silently, which will be the largest market I think.

Admittedly the colour is a bit of a shock at first, but it does grow on you. Plus the colour that you see in images is quite a bit removed from the 'actual' colour in my experience.

I love the colours lol

they remind me of chocolate :D

And what PV said is right. Although I did spend a while fiddling with white balance and camera settings to get the colour as close as possible but that doesnt consider the viewers screen calibration. Colours are certainly a lot richer than most photographs though.

I see, well i wouldnt decide whether im not gonna get the fan just cause of the color, u cant even see my intake fan in my case.

Well im gonna try and go buy one or 2 of them by the end of this month. Ill make a post telling you guys how they are if youd like.

I have two coming next week and will be testing them on a rad for those looking to utilise them in a water-cooling setup.

i wasnt saying that they are bad just 75 dollars i could buy another rad such as a 120.2 thermochill,b/c i got a my fans for 3 dollars each for yates 9 dollars total, just my two cents.

They look pretty decent, nice review!

Any ideas who carrys stock of them? Not seen them anywhere at my usual haunts.

The Scythe S-Flex's i bought are going in the bin, they only lasted a few months before they all started giving me this awful squeek. Sent one back only to have it returned with nothing wrong apparently.

They were pricey, so these as replacements seem fairly good value.
