Oh yay the exact same cheapo frame from china that every gamer chair has wrapped in tacky, Woot...
What I'll say here is that even if they use the same OEM, one company can still offer a better product than another. Remember that OEMs build products to meet a specification. The same applies to power supplies.
Based on what I can see, the base on Noblechairs' designs is different to what Corsair used in its T2 chairs. I believe that was the component that failed for you? IIRC, Corsair also moved to a different design with its T3, something which I think specifically mitigates the issue you had.
Basically, you can tell OEMs to build to a cheapo "good enough" spec or get them to make higher quality products. Also, as far as support goes, it's easier to find the right people to contact to get smaller companies like noblechairs to help you.
I agree that most of these "gaming chairs" are just companies jumping on the same OEM for some extra product diversity, but that doesn't mean that they are all the same chair (though most practically are).
From the pictures I can see the frame/base of these noble chairs is the exact same as the T2 i.e cheap and nasty but with a very large profit margin, The only difference is the screw on plastic pads on the side of the chair, They have a slightly difference design.

No, just no...
I love my Noble chair, but this makes a mockery of the style.

Which one are you using?... I tried both the Hero and Icon, of the new Black Edition line up. For a chair that costs $500, I found it very strange that you can't tilt the seat itself, but you can tilt the entire chair.
This resulted in the front of the seat actually pinched the under side of my legs and made me sit as almost you sit in a pot. Weren't comfortable at all unfortunately.

Doesn't mean the materials are the same just because they look alike
All made in the same factory in china, All use the same cheap steel to increase profit margins, Not saying they cannot be comfortable, My T2 has made my butt and back feel amazing but I wouldn't trust Corsair, Noblechairs, DXRacer etc.... long term.
Again as WYP and I have said, you don't know if the materials are the same and they could be made with better quality specifications set by NobleChairs. You're just being pessimistic.
Noblechairs have a good reputation and I don't see any reason to doubt the quality of their chair just because they put different leather designs on it.
My brother has a Noblechair, 1 of the expensive ones, Same exact undercarriage as my T2, Not just the same layout, But the exact same one, These companies are all the same, Get a generic undercarriage, Make a gamery aesthetic and they say "we're totally different from everyone else".
Which one does he have because I just checked the T2 and Mine is not the same.
I think it was the NobleChairs Epic, Minus a few plastic moulded parts the undercarriage is identical.
Epic with real leather.
