I arose the morning to a very pleasant surprise:

TEAM EPUK No1 HWBot 3D Bench Tables

All that before Dazboots and livingl@arge posts their scores and Scorchio re-addresses the balance with one last shot at the title.

Gollum, The Legend and RRA continue to impress with even our single card guys scoring impressively.

All in all, a great time to be in TEAM EPUK - challenging and fun with lots of support from the guys with proven results.

Great work guys, keep going - don't forget the clan for all you gamers out there!! CLAN EPUK

TEAM EPUK - CHAMPIONS!!!

The Coach!!

PS: I notice that more and more 'xtreme' people are registering here ;)

PPS: The Coach (officially retired) is going for one last assault on Superpi as I have now discovered how supertight old skool BH5 can really go!!

Yup, "we" collectively rock.

EPUK probably has most of the U.Ks best guys....its a shame some of the guys here dont get more recognition. If Wendel can get sponsership, why cant some of you guys?

Some of the guys here are experts in their field, do sterling R+D work or seriously push their rigs further than is probably sensible. They should be ackowledged (sp?) methinks

I've often wondered why we cant get more recognition considering the sterling work you guys do and the fact that my systems are pretty much unique around the world. It doesnt make a lot of sense

LOL.... If you dont ask you dont get! I tried Red Bull once.... guess the answer. They were focusing on sprting events at the time..all of a sudden!

Vaguely thinking about trying OCZ and Epox. I`m doing pretty well with gear from both.

PCP+C and DFI should be thanking about half the guys here...

Yea you guys rock, am always sending people to this site from the other various forums. I dont know why you guys dont have better rec either maybe you need to go point out just how spankingly good you are cause they maybe blinded by the shine of your alu kits :)

And its one of the friendliest forums too :D

We`re modest as well as fast? I dunno..

I got a list of things I want to achieve in life, and endorsement is in there :)

You do get some recognition, most of the people that register here dont register for the small talk.

At the same time you think of Xtreme Systems, and you can name lots of the top overclockers, with their Cascade coolings and their rigs that they throw all their time and money at. When in fact you guys are beating them in the 3d benchs with prometeia coolers and water cooling.

Hats off to you guys!

Thanks for the kind comments guys - It's true we do rock, especially with the kit we have, not only that but we are (well I can speak for me and me old pal) gamers.

Benching is just fun for us, also I dont think we get the recognition by hardware manufacturers in the same way XS do, probably coz we don't have the highest score in anything (I reckon I could get real close just with a FX57 is anyone has one going spare??) - It's always nice to get freebies loooooool

On the flip side we are mostly UK based here and that counts against us - especially judging by some of the comments and accusations made from across the pond (it's the exception to the rule thou so thats okay).

At the end of the day we do what we do and we enjoy it and thats wot counts.

Of course, hi-end freebies are most welcome ;)

Some extreme pimpage needed i think Mr Stanbridge.

Get yourself in more magazines, your systems wee all over the likes of Alienware e.t.c and cost the same, look better and are quieter.

Custom PC did a "high end" article on some of the best and "extreme " systems for 2005 this month.

Sorry mate but i was really, really surprised to not see an EP setup in there for the price that they were.

Go for it.

There were meant to be 2 more rigs in that feature and I heard a rumour that one of Phils rigs was one of the ones that didnt make it. Whats that all about? I hope theres no truth in it.

EPU were going to be in that issue of 'dream PC's' but techincal issues after being bounced around by the carrier prevented that from happening and deadlines meant there was not enough time to rectify the situation in time for print - Phil can explain a little more but I think you get the gist.

One would assume as well that units are built to order, so its not as though there's one 'on the shelf' for them to try out - no doubt we will see an EPUK unit in there in the near future though.

I guess the best thing one of us could do when we order a system from Phil is to allow him to submit it for review prior to taking delivery?
