no post

just built this new rig, but, not getting a post, no keyboard/numlock check, no beeps, system powers up, fans start up, chipset cooler in the middle gets hot to the touch, but no vieo signal, with and without the gpu installed,

system details.

amd 6300
asus M5A78L-M/USB3
corsair cx430 psu,
patriot sport memory, 1600mhz 2 x 4gb

have a;ready tried cmos clear
 
fixed, taken the kingston memory outa my system and tried it in new build, works. put the patriot memory in myu system, works. both happy same speed, same capacity. but the patriot memory is 1.5v, the kingston is 1.65

Aahh... wouldn't expect 1600MHz RAM to be 1.65 Volts really but I'm glad it works now :)

Most of the Kingston stuff is/was actually.

Pretty much all the HyperX Blu, and HyperX Genesis kits at 1600mhz were. They were some of the first DDR3 kits out I believe (or at least some of the most popular DDR3 kits when DDR3 came out) and so there are quite a lot of 1.65v, 1600mhz Kingston RAM kits around.
