Also something i do is run a bare system ie 1 card and 1 stick of ram the shouldnt be any power issues.
The ram should take 3.6v safely and the cpu should be fine at 1.6-1.65v.try setting the other ram timings to auto at first you can allways tweak a bit after.
as scorchio says set ram to auto all the way down the settings and add a divider in make sure you can get the CPU to overclock (without worrying about the ram).
The problem most people have is that this board does NOT overclock the same as the old non expert unit and I have found it to be very twitchey.
That BIOS you are using is okay but the new BIOS is better.
Also go to OCZ support forums as they post some BIOS setting to use there with VX ram.
at last ...3000 (250 x 12), the board does not like 1.5v, so i used 1.4 v plus he 109% option and everything is okay now, will keep pushing to see how far it will go
my board would not boot with cpu voltage at 1.55 , soon as i changed it to 1.4v with 109% everything ran smoothly. Now to get the water cooling on the graphic cards set up.
Thanks to everyone for the advice...will try benching now ....keep you informed
got fsb to 3120 (12 x 260),voltage at 1.60 and all stable, pcmark 2005 at 14345,graphic cards at 490/1300 will start to overclock these now, whats the best coolbits or riva tuner?
Riva is good too as you can (in teh power user settings) disbale the clock test (in Nvidia oiverclocking and global overclocking sections) that throttles your overclocks and find your own overclock limits.
