No css for nol :(

None of my steam aps are working (havent tested non-steam aps). I replaced a psu in my rig at my mothers, 80gb hd died somehow, putin a 40gb and put new windows install in.

All drivers and dl's later its up and wooping.

I boot css or dod:s and it just does the starting in windows, shows the steam thing, then hl2.exe has hit an error and dead.

So anyone got any ideas?

It could be steam itself because my steam has been acting up lately. It was disconnecting me because it said this game did not belong to the steam user. IMO it doensn't sound like whatever is happening is being caused by the new hdd or psu.

The same thing happened to me sometimes.

*installed ones

- Chipset

- the newest nvidia ones

- sound drivers

Hahaha its not on my cd that came with the mobo, its in the extra's panel of it. That and I had to go grab a validated key number from an extra comp

K about to restart then will check css, I feal so stupid.

Don't worry about it NoL! I just install nvidia drivers so that must to the DX as well???

Recently my steam has thought css and dod arent there, and no matter what i do it forces me to download...

So ive formatted and backed game files from my bros machine and it seems all good so far

Well CSS and DOD:S are now perfect! And steams fine for me, maybe its just a UK error?
