hi,

am using a msi970gaming mobo, i recently upgraded my win 7 pro in to win 10. two days ago my OS crashed so i reset my win 10 OS , after that the audio device is not working. its say "no audio output device is installed" i updated all the latest drivers still the same problem, i try to manually add the audio device in device manager still no luck..

some one plzz help me to recover this problem...

If it's not even detecting the sound card then it would be more of a physical fault rather than a software one, IMO. Windows works on detecting devices by their hardware ID and then storing them in Device Manager. Even if no driver is installed it should be there, due to physics more than software.

I would go into your BIOS and under the onboard hardware bit make sure it hasn't been disabled.

Can you please upload a picture of your device manager, with any thing suspicious or audio devices open? PRT SCRN then paste in Paint or something.

"sound video and game controller" is added manually by me and its say unsupported port

i contacted microsoft support centre, seems like when reset the win 10 its go back to basic version 10.0 , so they suggest me to upgrade my win 10 version in to 15.11 after installing new updates sound back to work...
