I know (from memory) that in nLite there is an option to disable (or not install) Windows Update thingy.
Is this the method u use to install XP on a pc so that when the user goes to System Properties->Updates.. the window has all the things greyed out ?
OR is there a thing u can mess with as an admin that will let u set it as greyed out to the user - but leave window`s update routines in the install ?
