I've been looking for a new case / project idea for a while.
The Little devil LDV8 just blew me away when I noticed what could actually fit in it. I opted for 3 x 480mm radiators. Why ? I love overkill and it's something that will take some planning getting done.. That's what we all love right?

I'm still not quite sure which hardware I'm going to fit in it. Socket 2011 would be a quite simple choice. I'm still thinking about waiting it out for some haswell hardware and/or Nvidia 7xx-series..This would ultimately change the build's name into "Haswell's Nightmare"
What do you guys think?
Also I'm thinking of maybe adding a 120mm rad in the back (AX120), but I know this will add more restriction than anything else. It would be more of an aesthetic detail.

Anyway, let's get started with the basics. These pictures are taken with my phone but i'll add some better quality ones later on as the project develops.

Some goodies

The Koolance Dual bay Dual D5 Reservoir. I opted for Alphacool's VPP655 single editions. Most likely the pumps will run in series, That's what the 180° connector is for.

Some Monsoon free center fittings 3/8 - 5/8. I liked the look of these and I prefer this size of tubing.

A test fitting of the radiator tubing. I don't know if i'm going for all black tubing. I might add some Candy red dye (Mayhem's) and go for clear tygon tubing. The 90° fittings will be exchanged for Monsoon ones later on.

The Phobya individually braided fan cables. Still debating between using these or other ones. I like the red color on these. I will probably hook them up to some phobya fan pcb's

A final picture of the XSPC RX480 fitted in the roof with the SP120 QE's on it.
The bottom radiators are Phobya Gchangers with Gsilent 1500rpm fans.

Parts:
1x XSPC RX480
2x Phobya G-changer
2x Alphacool D5 VPP655
Koolance Dual bay/pump reservoir.
Tygon black and/or clear tubing (3/8",5/8")
Monsoon 3/8" fittings
4x Corsair SP 120mm QE
8x Phobya G-silent 120mm, 1500rpm
3x Prolimatech Red LED 140mm casefans
Corsair AX850 PSU (for now)
Corsair Red individually braided cables
... and alot more bits and pieces.

Please leave some advice, it would help alot !

AF120 fans? id opt for the SP120 QE in a push/pull on 7volt. the AF can pile
the air up to the rad, but the other-side will be jealous of no air penetration.
from my experiences using AF or SP on radiators.. especially thicker ones.

I was already editing my post . You can clearly see in the pictures I'm SP's. I'm using one AF in the back.

You already got much stuff, so get it running.
Sickest overkill would be:
-4x EVGA Classivied 680 Hydrocopper 4gb
-Rampage IV Extreme
-3970X
-64 GB of 2133+ RipJaws or Dominators
-2x Samsung 830 Raid 0

Hey, i notice you have the same dualbay dual pump res that I picked up for my latest build.. word from the wise.

Leak test it at full power (if you have vari pumps) before you plumb it in..

Mine leaked around the pump oring fitting and required a bit of a jury rig to seal it, annoying considering the price of these units. But just thought you should know.
I love mine and have it in dual loop mode :)

@Rossi94 - that's a good suggestion, the only thing holding me back is knowing in a few months haswell will be out..

@SuB - Thanks, I'll make sure I thoroughly test the res!

@The Orange One - I'll do my best to make this interesting ;)
