Hehe, picked up a HIS Radeon X1900GT IceQ3 Turbo Edition today @ Newegg, for $300. Can't wait to get it!

Hopefully it's unlockable. If not, who cares tbh. Most of these are hitting 750/700 or more. :D (Other X1900's. Nobody has the IceQ yet.. if I'm lucky it might have 1.1ns RAM)

As of now, nobody else has the card (HIS ICEQ3), that I've found.

On TechPowerUp!'s Forum, there is a discussion about it but at this moment it is very risky, and two people have killed their cards already. They have also realized that there is in fact TWO revisions of the R580 core. The R580 XL, which is 12 pipes only, and the R580 Pro, which is in the XT/XTX card's. There have been two cases of people having R580 Pro's in their cards, and I cant seem to remember the brands. Someone else on there had a regular old HIS, but nobody had the IceQ3. Who knows, maybe HIS threw in some extra "goodies" per se, to justify the increased price over the standard one ;).

As of now though I'm going to work on overclocking it. There have been some sweet ase overclocking results with these things so far, so we'll see!

And with that nice HSF on there I bet you have a good chance at getting some breakneck speeds out of it. Good luck! Can't wait to see the bench results.
 
First thing I'm gonna do when I get it is take all the heatsinks off, clean them thoroughly, and apply Arctic Silver Ceramique. Then, for some sexy pix of it :P. After the pix I'mma put on the second set of Microcool heatsinks I ordered for it, and then put it all together, and take MOOOORE pix :P.

Then I'll install it.

Let's see... iirc, HKPC's (or whatever it was) unlocking was done on an ICEQ3 version... so you may want to check out their thing (can't find atm, soz). Other companies were Powercolor and... I think that was it actually, there was a whole thread about it over at XS (I'm sure you've seen it, talking bout when it first came out and a bunch of people tried it)
