AM new to watercooling, HAve coolermaster scout case which I want to keep, but have 2 x gtx 570 on p67 UD7 mobo, which I want to watercool since they get too hot..

I have blocks for each card, but need cpu block for i7 2600K and rest of kit, have 2 x 5 1/4 bays free so thinking Koolance RP-452X2 Dual 5.25in Reservoir with one D5..

but need advice on tubing and cooling loop, as well as radiators, I can fit one 120mm rad in case but doubt enough so maybe 360 rad mounted on rear case fan with swiftech radbox

so I want to cool these, i7 2600k, 2 x gtx 570

Can get gpu blocks but and want to use Koolance RP-452X2 Dual 5.25in Reservoir with one D5, so need rest of kit..

I want this to be quiet as possible so don't mind spending a bit extra prefer not to mod..

Hi SLIZER,

I'm trying to plan my first watercooling build as well at the moment. I currently have a 2500k @ 4.6 and a pair of GTX 570's @ 800 core. As you're aware my two 570 are different so I had some trouble identifying exactly what blocks I needed. Obviously I know now with your assist over on my thread!

I've decided to migrate my build from my CM 690 II Lite to a new TJ07. I did consider an external rad for the 690 after Tom suggested one that wasn't half bad, but after pondering for a while I'd rather do a tidy internal build.

My next step is spec'ing up all the other bits I need, so I'm very much in the same boat as you. I know I'll be getting a good 480 rad and running push/pull in the base with, ideally, quiet fans. Not decided which 480 rad to get yet though. Also I'll be running a CPU block obviously, however once again the exact one is not decided.

Tubing-wise I want to use 1/2" ID 3/4" OD using compression fittings where possible for neatness. Rotatable compression fitting where needed will likely make things a little easier to route properly, especially as little tweaks are likely to be required as I go.

For the pump it'll be one of the DDC ones most likely, the one with the better head pressure as opposed to the higher flow one, though I'm not 100% on that yet. I'd don't think my three device loop will be restrictive so the higher flow (but lower pressure) one might be the perfect match...more homework required.

Reservoir wise I had thought about a bay res combo with the appropriate pump, however I think that might spoil the look I'm going for so an internal res (likely one of the cylindrical ones) might suit me better.

I'm still at the early "thinking too much about it" stage at the moment so everything is subject to change pretty much.

I can, with mods, also fit a 360 rad to the roof of the TJ07 so I may use this also, or possibly play around with a dual loop with the 360 for the CPU and the 480 for the GPUs. That would be fun to do, but I think I should keep it simple for my first complete WC build.

Hopefully we can compare notes on our respective builds
