Its time for me to start looking at my next project - an HTPC
I figure the spec will be something similar to:
Core2Duo
8600 GTS
2GB Memory
Motherboard - to fit case - almost certainly by Asus
Nice silent PSU - almost certainly Tagan
Single Internal HD - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB or so
I already have a Gyration Keyboard & Mouse for the box although I haven't decided what software to run yet...
Its the case that I am unsure of and asking for advice on at this point...
I would like a desktop style case capable of taking 2 * 5.25" external devices (DVD and disk caddy system). It has to be well designed from a airflow perspective preferably capable of taking at least one 120mm slow fan exhaust to keep the air turning over. Ideally the airflow would be pulled through (fan at rear) with the air coming in over the hard drive.
Any thoughts anyone as the case really drives the rest of the system...
